Prequel to "Another Time" on the way

I am very pleased to announce that I have just signed a contract with Austin Macauley for the publication of my new book, which is simply titled "Sylvia".

"Sylvia" is a prequel to my first book, "Another Time".

The main character is Sylvia, who readers of "Another Time" will recognise as Frank's (somewhat difficult) mother. The new work gives a deep insight into Sylvia's life and background and explains, in many ways, what has shaped her personality and why she behaves like she does.

The new book also follows Joseph, Frank's father, before WW1 and his service in the AIF during the First World War in Egypt, Gallipoli and the Western Front.

"Sylvia" also reveals the events that led to Sylvia and Joseph's meeting and their courtship, both of which seem to have been decided by fate.

I am very excited about this story, which I hope readers will enjoy as much as, if not more than, "Another Time". "Sylvia" is also considerably longer than "Another Time", so for all the people whose only complaint about "Another Time" was that they were sorry it ended so soon and wasn't longer, I hope you will find more satisfaction with "Sylvia".
